The deadline to submit work to the 8th annual DSVC National Student Show is four weeks from today... All college-level design, art direction, illustration and photography students are invited to submit your best work to be judged by leading industry big shots for a piece of over $15,000 in scholarships, cash awards, prizes, and a ticket to the 2012 HOW Conference. Selected work will be on show at the Conference and awards will be announced at the Gala Saturday night. Single entries are $20, or ten for $100. All entries are due to the DSVC office on Friday March 9th. Go to the DSVC student conference website for details about how to enter work.
Here is a list of the awards up for grab...

Senior Portfolio – Second Place
The second place winner will receive a ticket to the HOW Conference in Boston, June 22-25 and $500 in airline miles to help cover the cost of the trip.

Best School – $1,000 award
Awarded to the college, university, or art school whose students, as a whole, exhibit the highest level of work. At the end of the judging process, all work selected to be included in the show will be divided by school. Judges will then select a group of work they feel stands out collectively among all groups. Submissions will be judged on the overall quality—not quantity—of the entries. School names will remain anonymous through the judging process to avoid bias.
